Madeline & Pearl is a sweet boutique by Chef CiCi specializing in a variety of pastries such as cakes, cookies, confections, frozen desserts, vegan pastries, & more.
Madeline & Pearl was founded in December 2013 after Chef CiCi hosted her very own dessert event called The Sweet Hour. The Sweet Hour is where Chef CiCi displayed her pastry skills fresh from culinary school and internships to Los Angeles at Nic's Beverly Hills. From The Sweet Hour, Chef CiCi started her own business called Madeline & Pearl specializing in gourmet non-dairy ice creams. While running her business, Chef CiCi took on an opportunity to work at Hinoki & The Bird in Century City. During her time there her business began to grow and she was able to create over 40+ flavors. After her time at Hinoki, Chef CiCi moved on to work at Chef Wolfgang's Flagship restaurant Spago Beverly Hills under Chef Della Gossett. During her training at Spago, Chef CiCi decided to go on a hiatus with Madeline & Pearl to fully focus and hone in knowing her training would make her business much better in the long run.
Now she is ready to face the sweet world and make her chefs proud. With new skills at hand Chef CiCi has added cakes, cookie, cinnamon rolls, & much more to the Madeline & Pearl brand.
Chef CiCi has been featured on Chopped Sweets: Carnival Crunch Time, LA Times & Veg Out Magazine.
